[ She might have mistaken the sounds of lightning for being the signs of an attack. She was about ready to fight again. But that's all it was, it seems. Just loud, frightening noises. ]

[ Her reply sounds a little unhappy due to the rain, but obedient. Like she's obliging to captain's orders all over again.

There's some shuffling noises in the middle of all the loud thunder crashing. Somewhere, she's found shelter in an open tent. ]

You've experienced a storm before?

Yeah. In Struxta...

[She realizes that A4 would not know what she was talking about, and elaborates.] ...the planet we were dropped on before you arrived. There was an electrical storm that caused damage to androids...to anything mechanical.

When I first got here [she remembers her fight with 9S, and sighs some.] ...it was raining too. That storm on Struxta didn't have rain.

[ Her uniform is not fine. While she's not loudly complaining about it now, she's very likely thinking those complaints. She's given up repeatedly brushing at her dress at this point. ]

An electrical storm? Ohhhh... scaaaary! [ She lets out a surprised noise, almost like a child sitting for a spooky story. It is a genuinely scary-sounding planet though. Dangerous. She wonders how her friend fared over there... ]

Was that where some of your damages came from? You know, Number 2. You really need to get some proper maintenance. Even your clothes are in tatters... no, worse than that! It's pretty cold too. [ They don't get sick like humans, but still! ] At least think about getting a coat and pants or something.

If only my magic worked...

It wasn't that bad.

[It was awful, horrible.

Her mouth thins at the mention of the damage her body had gone through, and for a second the urge to snap out, I don't need maintenance is so strong that she has to bite her tongue to keep the words down.

Number 4 was not a pushy human who knew nothing of her. Number 4 was her friend, and had died for her, and in return she had allowed herself to be reduced to this.

It was shameful.]

The damage is old. Not really much I can do about it here.

I see. Well, I'm glad you're still safe.

[ A4 sighs, blissfully unaware of the true pains of what it was like on the other planet. It might be hearing her over the communicator that makes it easier for her to accept her answer, where she can't study A2's body language. ]

Yeah, you know. The magic that Astoria gives us when we arrive. I can create clothing with mine. [ A sheepish laugh. ] It's kind of random and weird though.

Mm.

[She's quiet afterward, listening. Her expression, tight and tense, softens some.]

Clothing, huh.

...That sounds about right. Not sure what she did to me.

If you can't do anything about your old damages, we can find some better, replacement parts for you. Somewhere. Until then, let me give you a coat or something when we're back in our rooms.

[ Maybe. She can't easily assist with the replacement components. She's combat unit, not maintenance. The least she can do is try to keep an eye out for it. ]

...That's weird, though. I thought everyone had some idea what their magic can do. [ Then again, she hasn't really asked too many people about their new magic. Oh well. Regardless, her tone is cheerful, positive. ] That's okay! You'll figure it out soon!

[Those creatures on Struxta had been the same about this, concerned about the damage her body had taken on, insistent on fixing it. She'd snapped at them, but with A4 she cannot manage to be so cold and angry.

She only sighs, after a moment.]

...Fine.

[...]

I don't know. I haven't seen anyone else's magic. Only yours and one other's.

I can use my sword. I don't really need anything else.

Still, I'm curious about what it is. [ She shrugs. She's not too concerned about her magic at the moment. They'll have to wait and see. ] Anyway, I'll be sure to pick out something nice and fitting when we're back in our room.

[ Aside from the rain and occasional loud crashes, some shuffling around can be heard. A4's standing up, moving back towards to the opening of her tent. ]

Where around camp are you, anyway?

[ The sound of movement doesn't stop as she steps back outside, risking to drench herself once again in the downpour. ]

Fine.

[She's resigned to the possibility of clothing experimentation.]

I'm out.

[Is the unhelpful answer, at first.

Eventually:]

Not far from the camp. I can find you.

Okaaaay, Number 2! I'll wait here! I could use the company.

[ More like A4 doesn't want A2 to be alone...

And A4 doesn't wait quietly. If the other android listens closely to the feed, the sound of water plopping and splashing can be heard. It's not just the rain.

...She's jumping in the puddles nearby her tent. It's muddying up the bottoms of her shoes a bit. While she'd typically complain, she's finding some amusement while she waits. ]

[A2 does listen, and turns to Pod, curious. Pod seems at a loss as well though, but it is able to pinpoint A4's location, and soon enough they are both coming into view, drenched in rain and mud but altogether whole.

A2 raises an eyebrow at the display. Eventually...]

...What are you doing?

[ She perks up at the sound of A2's voice and finally stops childishly hopping around. Her shoes are about halfway covered in mud. Despite that, she lets out a laugh. ]

Oh, hey Number 2! I dunno... just goofing off, I guess. It's really chilly!

[ Obviously. But she'd never seen rain and big puddles like these before. It's kind of fascinating to her now that she'd gotten over the loud thundering noises. Thank goodness for being unable to catch illnesses like humans.

She holds her hand out to the other android. ]

Come on, let's get in the tent.
